Job Title: Finance Controller (Crypto) About the Company A decentralized exchange (DEX) operating in the cryptocurrency space, utilizing smart contracts and blockchain technology to enable secure and transparent trading across a wide range of digital assets. Job Summary: Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to manage financial operations, establish financial controls, and provide insights to support business decisions. This role reports directly to the CEO. Compensation will be based on experience. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow. - Develop and implement financial policies and procedures aligned with relevant accounting standards and compliance requirements. - Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable insights to leadership. - Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners. - Prepare and present financial statements and reports to executive leadership. - Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Oversee banking relationships and ensure liquidity management. - Support fundraising activities with financial models and forecasts. - Administer payroll and employee benefits programs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - CPA or equivalent certification required. - 5–7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within financial services or technology sectors. - Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. - Excellent analytical and communication skills. - Experience with decentralized technologies or cryptocurrency is an advantage. - Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. - Familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
