Establishing a strong finance leadership role within our organization is crucial in navigating the complexities of corporate and investment banking. Our goal is to secure a seasoned professional who can effectively manage capital requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness in reporting.
The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing monthly RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) and leverage reporting, identifying gaps in capital processes, and implementing corrective actions to enhance data quality and integrity. Additionally, they will design and maintain high-quality MIS reports for RWA and leverage on a monthly and daily basis.
Key responsibilities include engaging with Risk, Operations, Technology, and Finance teams to track, remediate, and log RWA issues, as well as providing subject matter expertise on PRA regulatory guidelines and Basel 3.0 / 3.1 capital requirements for CIB products.
Eligible candidates must possess:
• 15+ years of experience in Business Finance and Risk Management within the banking or financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of CIB products across Trade, Markets, and Banking, along with Credit Risk RWA calculations.
• Proven expertise in UK regulatory guidelines and Basel capital frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across senior business and risk partners.
• High proficiency in MS Office, data warehouse tools, and financial reporting systems.
