The Finance Director provides strategic leadership across core finance functions, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial controls, and alignment with business goals. This role manages a team of finance professionals while collaborating closely with European stakeholders to support sustainable growth and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in finance leadership roles, ideally within a shared services or multinational setup
• Expertise in managing multi-entity, multi-currency financial operations
• Strong knowledge of European financial regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with Salesforce and Certinia is an advantage
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end Pay & Bill operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for clients and contractors.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Payroll functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Manage daily bank reconciliations to maintain cash flow visibility and financial integrity.
• Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and internal governance policies.
• Support cash flow, working capital, and treasury management activities in coordination with the Financial Controller.
• Strengthen internal controls and support external audits, liaising with auditors and tax authorities.
• Act as a key link between the India SSC and European finance teams to ensure process alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and standardization of financial processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve performance excellence and professional growth.
