Job Role : Finance Executive
Location : Chennai
Experience : 2-3 years
Salary : 20k
Job role and Responsibilties:
Management reporting , Budgeting and Forecasting , Month end processes , Reconciliations.
Adhere to business controls to ensure BW policies and financial goals are met and continually monitor the same.
Proper accounting to ensure accurate cost center reporting for Engineering R & D reporting and for other functional disciplines as required
Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers and databases
Process journal entries an reconcile bank statements in comparison to general ledger
Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by analyzing information from the general ledger system
Review and balance internal accounts, analyze variances with financial software
Match, batch, and coding vendor invoices
Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, tax computations, and other accounting duties in a timely manner.
Strong knowledge on Direct Tax, Labour Law and Indirect Tax regulations. Hands on experience in filing TDS / GST / PF / ESI / PT returns etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
CA/Bachelors/Masters Degree in accounting or finance
2-3 years of accounting experience
Natural Proficiency with Math
Knowledge of basic financial, tax, and accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated experience with Indian regulatory requirements.
