Raincheck Earth is a startup in the liquor industry. Our mission is to produce sustainable consumer products by turning rainwater harvested in the rainiest places on earth into premium beverages. Manufacturing happens in Meghalaya and our head office is in Gurgaon.
We are looking for a Finance Manager with experience in the alco-bev / liquor industry to join our team for an exciting journey.
Responsibilities
• Support business and operation teams in all finance and compliance matters. This includes: state excise duties & VAT, imports / exports, customs, industry compliances (FSSAI, label and brand registrations per state), secretarial compliances.
• Monitoring cash flow.
• Collect, interpret and review financial information.
• Manage day-to-day finance activities like payment processing, invoicing, relationship with banker, expense management.
• Manage customer accounts.
• Liaise with tax, compliance, excise and auditing professionals and lawyers.
• MIS / dashboard preparation along with Head of Sales.
• Direct reporting to CEO, indirect reporting to Head of Sales.
Skills required
• Technical knowledge of Customs, GST, State VAT, State excise Acts, liquor industry. compliance OR ability and willingness to learn fast.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Execution excellence and attention to detail.
• Self-driven and able to figure things out.
Qualification & experience
• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 3-5 years of experience
• Experience in the alco-bev industry
