The role
As part of the Finance unit, the Finance Officer supports the delivery of services to the organisation and community.
Key responsibilities include:
Daily download and import of bank files, manually receipting a variety of bank deposits, and reconciliation of 5 bank accounts.
Production and distribution of sundry debtor invoices and monthly debtor statements on a timely basis.
Prepare and post routine and ad hoc journals to the general ledger as required.
Provide a high level of assistance to internal and external customers, providing accurate and timely information to resolve payment, billing, and general finance enquires.

relevant experience with an understanding of finance or accounting processes
proficiency with computer software including financial systems
a positive attitude
an eye for detail and accuracy
ability to develop positive working relationships
flexibility to adapt to changing operating environments and the ability to learn new processes, procedures and systems quickly.
