About the role
We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our Bolton Clarke team. You are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial services functions.
Key Activities:
Accounts payable invoice and data entry.
Creditor statement reconciliations.
Responding to creditor and internal queries.
Process cheque and electronic payments (local and international).
Liaise with site staff on an ongoing basis as required.
Assist with the reconciliation of Accounts Payable related General Ledger accounts.
Liaise with local networks, professionals, government departments and suppliers to promote the organisation and remain abreast of emerging issues.
Manage complaints and grievances in a timely manner.
Undertake reporting activities together with other relevant documentation within the scope of your role.
Participate in business planning processes and policy and procedure formulation and improvement within your area of responsibility.
About you
Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable).
Demonstrated experience in a similar role for a large multi-site organisation.
Demonstrated experience in account management functions and ability to manage large volumes of financial data for a growing organisation working with multiple ledgers.
Demonstrated experience with a computerised financial accounting system including fast
accurate keyboard skills and preferably advanced spread sheeting skills.
Excellent understanding of Australian GST requirements
Aged care industry experiences preferable but not essential.
