Job Description
This contract position has been designed to support the business during a key period of growth. You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive finance team, reporting directly to a highly experienced and hands-on Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports
Monitor financial activity, analyse variances, and provide actionable insights
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
Take ownership of statutory obligations including BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and GST
Manage bank reconciliations and the general ledger
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
Contribute to improvements in reporting processes and internal controls
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support strategic decision-making

About You
CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience
Strong financial reporting and compliance experience in a commercial setting
Must have exposure to IFRS 16 and lease accounting standards - essential
Technically sound, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Confident communicator, able to engage across finance and non-finance teams
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
