Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for Financial Accountant to join our accounting team. The primary responsibility will be to assist the accounting team to review and process the fixed asset, bank/cash, and general ledger transactions, complete the month-end and quarter-end close process including accounts reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
● Review and process of fixed assets in the Oracle Fixed Asset Module for US GAAP and local GAAP, including capitalization, retirements and other assets.
● Prepare invoices for fixed asset entry, sets up fixed assets with relevant required information, and maintains existing assets, all in accordance with company policy
and accounting guidelines.
● Prepare journal entries for expenses or reclassification invoices not meeting fixed asset guidelines.
● Support the quarterly impairment and annual assets verification with the appropriate asset custodian or business unit managers and with the assistance of the FP&A
business partners.
● Handle daily cash operations include reconciling receipts, disbursement and concentration accounts, cash in-transit and other cash related transactions in the Oracle
Cash Management module.
● Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed asset register and bank reconciliation.
● Complete accurate month-end and quarter-end close for US GAAP and local GAAP within the required deadlines.
● Support external audit requirements related and specific areas of responsibility.
● Support the update of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ad-hoc projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) and Intermediate Chartered Accountancy (CA)
• 3 + years of experience with Oracle accounting application with Fixed Assets, Cash Management and General Ledger modules.
• 3 + years of Proficiency in Excel and Oracle or other ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and other accounting principles and ability to apply basic accounting principles.
• Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed asset register and bank reconciliation
• Experience working across cultures and geographies
• Great team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
• Ability to build successful relationships with many different stakeholders.
