Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Bookkeeper to support our clients' financial health.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Australian accounting principles, be proficient with various accounting software, and have excellent data entry skills.
Main Responsibilities:
• Data Entry and Reconciliation: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform bank and credit card reconciliations, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and on time, prepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll declarations, and stay up-to-date with Australian payroll legislation.
• BAS and IAS Preparation: Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements accurately and on time.
• Reporting: Generate various financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience (minimum 3+ years) as a Bookkeeper, preferably within an Australian accounting firm or with multiple Australian clients.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles, GST, BAS, PAYG, and superannuation.
• Advanced proficiency with cloud-based accounting software, particularly Xero.
• Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup conducive to remote work.
