, Credit Control, Legal Cashiers and Billers, and Financial Operations Database teams.
Our UK Finance team is primarily based in London and Chelmsford and we also have a presence in a number of global offices.
Key Responsibilities
• Development and production of management information within the firm, including assisting the Financial Reporting Manager with the design of procedures and processes for effective and timely reporting across the group
• Assist in the production and creation of monthly management reporting packs for the group including : financial statements, board reports, director reports, bank report
• Respond to all queries and requests in a timely and efficient manner, referring complex and contentious issues to the Financial Reporting Manager.
Required experience
• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent with good knowledge of relevant Accounting
• Standards (IFRS / UK GAAP)
• Accounts preparation experience - maintaining financial records and producing P&Ls, Balance
• Sheets and Cash Flow Statements
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, Index & Match, Sum Ifs, Pivot tables etc)
• Audit experience within a global firm with a multi-currency environment, desirable
• Finance systems experience (preferably Elite 3E), desirable
• Legal or professional services industry sector experience, desirable
