Financial Accountant - West Sussex - Hybrid (3 days office)
6 month Fixed Term Contract
£45K to £55K

One of the things that makes this organisation wonderful place to work, is that the business priority is improving the lives of their end user, and they do this through looking after their people We're keen to speak with newly qualified Financial Accountants looking to further their exciting and fast paced business at an exciting period of growth and change The role is complex as it is challenging, you'll need the level of confidence that can only be derived from a solid financial accounting background.
Your core duties will include but are not limited to:
• Partner with country directors to discuss business performance and produce variances as required
• End to end accounts production for multiple European entities, ensuring accurate & consistent monthly reporting, YTD results, preparation of month end journals including depreciation, prepayments, and accruals.
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and signed off monthly to month end deadlines
• Ensure local statutory and tax compliance is adhered to
• Work with the teams within your territories to produce annual budgets
• Production of year end audit files. Including draft stat accounts for each of your EMEA entities
• Compliance; Ensure all tax and fiscal requirements are filed within statutory deadlines
To Be Considered You Will Need To
• Newly Qualified ACCA or CIMA Qualified ACCA or CIMA, ideally with a couple of years PQE
• Be a self stater who works on their own initiative
• Have demonstrable experience analysing & manipulating large data sets
• Be available at no more than one weeks notice
Although the role is initially offered as a Temp / Fixed Term Contract (whichever your preference), I've worked with this intelligent organisation on many occasions and can vouch for the fact that they are opportunistic hirers. Sufficed to say, you do a good job and further opportunity may present itself.
