Financial Analyst - Accounts Payable Role
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst - Accounts Payable with strong knowledge and experience in finance, accounting, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate should be aware of financial terms and tools and have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks.
Key responsibilities include preparing purchase orders, verifying and processing vendor invoices for payment after necessary statutory deductions, reconciling expenses with budgets, and preparing data to pay statutory payments.
About this Role:
• To record and process Vendor invoices before the due date after taking necessary approvals.
• To reconcile the expense with budget and report any deviation to the appropriate reporting authority.
• To prepare data to pay TDS, GST, and other statutory payments and provide necessary data to file returns before the due date.
• To provide cash expense budgets for the month at the beginning of the month to assist the team in preparing cash flow.
• To perform regular ledger scrutiny to report any irregularities.
• To produce monthly financial and management reports related to accounts payable.
• To follow up on a daily basis with internal stakeholders to get information on expenses to report unbudgeted expenses to the management.
• To investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
• To provide assistance in general financial management and analysis.
• To maintain accounts payable files and records.
• To coordinate with internal stakeholders like Legal, Operations, Project Management, HR, and other Departments across the organization.
