Kara Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts and Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
• Process supplier invoices and manage supplier queries related to invoices.
• Prepare supplier payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Produce BACS payment runs for approval and process payments on the bank.
• Reconcile supplier statements and send remittances to suppliers post-payment run.
Accounts Receivable:
• Process invoices into the accounts system and send to customers.
• Handle queries related to resident fees and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the credit control team to reduce outstanding debts.
Banking:
• Post transactions for receipts and payments in the bank system.Ad-hoc Tasks & Projects:
• Assist with various tasks and projects as requested by the finance team.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in accounts payable and receivable, banking, and payroll processing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with finance and accounting systems.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in IT systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• 3 years experience using Xero software
