Roles and Responsibilities:
• Financial Management Expertise: Deep understanding of various aspects of financial management such as business finance, budget development, financial planning, risk management, and financial reporting. Proficiency in cost analysis and forecasting is a must.
• Accounting Proficiency: Strong grasp of accounting principles, tax laws and regulations, and audit procedures. Experience in managing end-to-end accounting processes including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of applicable local and international accounting and financial standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Ability to ensure the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using advanced finance software and various financial management tools. Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial modelling tools. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Data Analysis: Strong skills in financial data analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting. Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
• Audit and Internal Controls: Experience in managing audits, establishing, and maintaining internal controls. Understanding of risk management practices.
