The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Financial Controller to join our team on a temp to perm basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance function, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial accounting and reporting across the business. You will lead a team of four qualified accountants and report directly to the Finance Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the entire end-to-end finance function.
Manage financial accounting, including month-end reporting and reconciliations.
Prepare and present financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Provide financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial objectives with business goals.
About You:
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, ideally within an independent business overseeing the full finance function.
Strong background in financial accounting and reporting.
Experience in financial analysis and providing insights to support business decisions.
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team of qualified accountants.
CPA or CA qualification is essential.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
