Are you a fully qualified finance professional whose background includes manufacturing/engineering/high tech sector knowledge? Due to an evolutionary change project within the business, an exciting and exceptional opportunity has arisen to join them in the capacity of Financial Controller. Working for a £14m turnover business that sits within an inspirational sector, this is a role that requires an individual who is adept at working with senior stakeholders as a true Finance Business Partner. Working closely with the MD and with a dotted line into the Group FD, you will form a key part of the senior management team in a hands-on capacity. Managing a small team and working cross-functionally to deliver against objectives, your position will include driving the business forward to deliver its financial performance targets through proactive financial management and provision of robust business support to aid strategic decision making. Due to the size of the business, this role will require a hands-on approach to producing the numbers which will include delivery of monthly management accounts to provide meaningful and insightful information. The Person - Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) - Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar capacity - Sector background: manufacturing, engineering, other complex operations - Proven ability to deliver both financial and management accounts - Fresh technical knowledge to include UK GAAP - Analytically minded with strong business judgement and problem solving skills - Robust working knowledge of ERP systems within a manufacturing/other complex environments If this sounds like your ideal next move, please contact Samantha Harris for more information.
