Financial Reporting Accountant
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (plus discretionary bonus scheme)
Permanent – Full-time
Based in Wells
Probusiness Accountants is a friendly and dynamic team based in Wells with a passion for cutting edge technology in cloud accounting. Our accountancy practice has experienced significant growth over recent years, with a client base from start-ups to established businesses.
We require a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) to work with our ever-increasing portfolio of clients ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting, tax and business advisory services to the clients of our Wells office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive accountant to join us on our journey.
As a Financial Reporting Manager you will:
Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors
Build strong client relationships
Review and finalise financial statements and tax returns for companies and individuals
Advise and guide our clients on all aspects of accounting ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Advise clients regarding tax - PAYE, VAT, CT & SA returns
Liaise confidently with a range of existing and potential clients and offer exceptional customer service
You will need:
ACA or ACCA qualification and demonstrable experience in public practice
Confidence in working with a range of cloud accounting software and apps including Xero and Quickbooks
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A flair for leading and developing others
The ability to solve problems independently
A team player with a positive attitude
