Our company, a leading player in the Real Estate industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial reporting Accountant to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of our high-performing finance department, where you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health and success of our company. We are looking for a candidate who is highly proficient in Yardi, has Real Estate or Private Equity experience, and/or a background in Big 4 public accounting.

Responsibilities
As a Financial Reporting Accountant, your primary duties will include but are not limited to
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Preparing financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.
• Providing guidance on financial reporting and operational matters.
• Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
• Ensuring a clean and timely year-end audit.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve company financial goals.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and reporting variances.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant position should have the following qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA is highly preferred.
• Proven experience with Yardi, Real Estate, or Private Equity.
• A strong background in Big 4 public accounting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, including knowledge of FASB, SEC, and IFRS.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
• The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial associates.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
