Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Foreman to join our team and support industrial fire alarm and suppression systems. The ideal candidate will be primarily be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of industrial fire alarm projects.
This position requires travel about 25%-50% of the time. You'll be assigned projects that can vary from 1-2 days, to 1 week, and even long-term assignments lasting over 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise the installation of industrial fire alarm projects
• Conduct troubleshooting, inspections, and testing of fire protection systems, as needed
• Diagnose and repair issues with fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients regarding fire protection needs.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with construction teams to plan and install fire protection systems in new buildings.
• Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to fire safety.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of fire alarm installation experience
• Knowledge of Notifier, Silent Knight, Siemens, Honeywell, and other panels.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and regulations related to fire protection.
• Strong background in electrical systems and construction practices.
• Relevant licenses and certifications in fire protection services are a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field tech environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time
