Polymer Processing is a manufacturer of quality recycled resins. This position is a full time permanent role with a minimum of 40 hours per week and maximum number of 60 hours per week.
Main duties
Fits, assembles, grinds and shapes metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate all extruders / granulators and other equipment.
Maintaining all extruders / granulators and associated equipment including weekly lubrication checks and Health and safety issues on all machinery.
Always Maintaining a clean working environment
Notify immediately any defects or hazards that could affect yourself or fellow co-workers.
Ensure that the required outputs are always met through well maintained machineryAny mechanical or electrical maintenance problems should be reported as soon as possible.
Report all accidents, incidences and near misses immediately.
Operating forklifts in a safe manner
Attendance at the Health and Safety meetings is required.
Cleaning machinery when required
Requirements
At least two years of relevant experience
Good communication skills – Basic English is acceptable.
Positive attitude to learning
Ability to relate well to fellow co-workers
Reasonable level of an understanding in mathematics
Car drivers license
