Summary
We are seeking a caring and flexible Floater Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will provide support across multiple classrooms, assisting teachers with daily routines, learning activities, and supervision of children. Your ability to adapt to different age groups and classroom needs will be vital in ensuring a positive learning environment for all children.
Responsibilities
1) Provide classroom coverage and support for teachers across infants, toddlers, preschool, and afterschool age groups.
2) Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s development.
3)Support children’s daily routines including meals, naps, and transitions.
4)Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
5)Encourage positive behavior and help foster respectful interactions among children.
6)Build supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
7)Follow childcare licensing standards and health/safety regulations.
Requirements
1)High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred).
2)Previous experience working with children in a daycare or school setting preferred.
3)Flexibility to work with different age groups and schedules.
4)Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
5)CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
