ABM is seeking a motivated individual for an entry-level Floating Helper & Handyman trainee position at Park La Brea, a prestigious 160-acre residential complex featuring multiple high-rise and medium-rise buildings with extensive grounds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in facilities maintenance with a leading facility services company.
Key Responsibilities
• Replace and repair window screens
• Install and maintain blind slats
• Service and replace screen doors
• Repair window crank arms
• Fix faucet drips and minor plumbing issues
• Assist with general maintenance tasks across the residential complex
• Support facilities team with various handyman duties as needed
What We're Looking For
• No prior experience required - we provide comprehensive training
• Strong willingness to learn new skills and techniques
• Motivation to grow within the company
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and move between buildings
• Valid driver's license (required)
Work Schedule (Subject to Change)
• Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits
• Starting Pay: $24.85 per hour
• Union Position
• Work tools provided by ABM
