The main areas of responsibility for the raw sanitation employee are as follows: Taco Assembly room, Taco cook room, Case off room, Taco washes sink and hallway, and Frock rack area.
Job Responsibilities:
• Pick up all inedible waste from the areas of responsibility, transfer it to the appropriate container, denature, and cover.
• Clean all production area floors with squeegee.
• Pick up all trash. Transport it to the trash Dumpster in the rear of the building.
• Take all cardboard to the cardboard Dumpster and compact it.
• Fill all soap dispensers in applicable rooms.
• Fill all towel dispensers in applicable rooms.
• Rinse and refill tool sanitizer racks.
• Pick up and dispose of all foreign matter found in Taco wash sink area, Taco hallway, and frock area.
• Ensure that all broken boards are placed in board barrels.
• Restock all daily supplies in assembly room, and frock area.
• All general Sanitation/Janitorial duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Must wear safety equipment, etc. and follow GMP’s.
• Knowledge of company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform work as assigned by the department Supervisor.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• The Team Member will be regularly required to stand, stoop, bend, twist and squat, reach, push, pull and move about the facility.
• The Team Member will work in hot, cold, and wet environments.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
