The Role
The Floor Supervisor supports the Venue Management team in the day-to-day running of the venue. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards, delivering an excellent guest experience, and ensuring venue procedures are followed. You will facilitate smooth floor operations, ensuring staff are well supported, service runs efficiently, and the venue maintains high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism. The Floor Supervisor also plays an important role in developing junior team members and creating a positive, high-performance team culture.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day floor operations, including opening and closing procedures
Maintain high service standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience
Support, coordinate, and develop staff to ensure efficient service and strong team performance
Ensure the venue is prepared for service through stock control, organisation, and cleanliness
Manage tills, resolve discrepancies, and complete end-of-night reporting
Ensure compliance with RSA, licensing, and health, safety, and operational procedures

Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' hospitality supervisory experience in a high-volume venue
Proven leadership skills with experience training, mentoring, and motivating teams
Strong knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine and service style
Sound understanding of wine, particularly Italian varietals and Mediterranean regions
Experience with cost control, rostering, and operational reporting
