Tasty Tide Limited is looking for a FOH Staff/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will be supporting daily restaurent operations, delivering excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and positive environment.
Position: FOH Staff/Kitchen Assistant
Pay Rate: $26 - $28
Minimum Weekly Hours: 30
Maximum Weekly Hours: 55
Location: Bay of Plenty
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take accurate food and beverage orders
Serve meals and drinks promptly
Handle payments using POS systems (cash/EFTPOS)
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and tables
Assist customers with menu questions and recommendations
Manage bookings and takeaway orders
Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
Assist with basic food preparation
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas
Dispose of waste and manage recycling
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients
Support kitchen staff during busy periods
Requirements:
1 year’ experience OR any Level 3 qualification
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Great communication and people skills
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Available on weekends.
