About Us
Lake St Clair Lodge (www.lakestclairlodge.com.au) is a boutique, environmentally conscious resort located on Australia’s deepest lake.
We operate 42 cabins along with a restaurant, café and bar, welcoming travellers from across Australia and internationally. Our focus is on organic produce, wellness-oriented dining, and delivering an authentic wilderness experience with professional hospitality standards.
About the Role
Reporting to the Duty Manager, you will lead daily Food & Beverage operations across our restaurant, café and bar.
This is a hands-on supervisory position. You will lead from the floor, support your team during service, and take responsibility for stock control, ordering and smooth day-to-day operations.
Because we are a seasonal business, you will also play an important role in managing fluctuating demand throughout the day and across seasons.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Supervising restaurant, café and bar service
Leading and mentoring seasonal and permanent staff
Managing stock control, purchasing and pricing
Using Lightspeed POS to monitor sales and reporting
Maintaining high presentation and service standards
Ensuring compliance with food safety and RSA regulations
Handling guest feedback professionally
Supporting sales growth and upselling initiatives
Working autonomously during quieter operational periods

About You
You are an experienced hospitality professional who:
Has supervisory experience in a seated table service restaurant (fine dining highly regarded)
Understands formal dining, bar operations and guest experience
Is confident managing stock and ordering processes
Can lead a team through busy service periods
Maintains excellent grooming and presentation standards
Communicates clearly and professionally
Holds RSA (required)
Is comfortable working in a remote/regional setting
Can adapt to seasonal demand and team changes
Experience using Lightspeed POS will be highly regarded.
