Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Server to join our Hbar team at Hyatt Place Hyatt House Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre. The successful candidate excels in delivering an exceptional breakfast and evening dining experiences. You will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong background in the food industry, particularly a branded standard dining settings. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding high standards of food safety and presentation.
Duties
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing menus and answering any questions regarding food and beverage offerings.
Take accurate orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all items meet presentation standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, including breakfast buffet setting up and occassional banquet services or catering events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications
Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Experience in serving, food preparation, catering, or banquet services is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages.
