Job Description
FOOD SERVICE HELPER 10 -MONTH
SALARY: $16.50 per hour
HOURS: 15 hrs/week -School Days Only- (Mon. - Fri. 10:00am to 1:00pm)
LOCATION: SMALLWOOD DRIVE SCHOOL
START DATE: September 2, 2026
DUTIES and QUALIFICATIONS:
Washing of pots & pans
Work in dish room
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Minor Food Preparation
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
Must be able to understand, read and write and speak the English language proficiently
Must be a team player.
Experience working with elementary students preferred
Experience is helpful, but not necessary
Willing to train as a backup server and backup cashier
Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees)
fingerprint procedure-attached
Uniform Allowance, Fingerprinting reimbursed after 1 year of employment, paid sick, personal and snow days.
