We are seeking a Food Service Assistant for our Mornington Home to work on a Part time basis. Must be available Tues and Fri and available to work from 2pm to 8pm shift.
About the role
As a Food Service Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.
You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.
What You Will Do
Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
Understanding residents special dietary requirements
Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
Understand and execute infection control initiatives
What You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as a team player
Flexibility to work varied shifts
Previous experience in Kitchen operations
Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
Provide NDIS clearance, Rights to Work
