About Unbox Health
Unbox Health is India's first ratings platform for packaged foods and health supplements.
We are building the Trust & Credibility layer for packaged foods in India. In an industry filled with misinformation, manipulation and marketing tricks, we offer lab-tested facts and zero opinions. We partner with premium NABL-accredited labs foods labs in the country to lab test products, and rate them based on label accuracy, toxicity limits and nutritional guidelines. We’re on a mission to help consumers make informed decisions, while helping ethical brands to build credibility.

Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of lab testing at Unbox Health. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assessing and evaluating Food Labs to ensure that Unbox Health only partners with the highest quality Labs
• Defining the list of parameters we test for each packaged food or health supplement category
• Analysing lab reports and identifying data discrepancies
• Refining our Lab Testing & Rating methodology to ensure we maintain a fool-proof process
• Increasing Operation Efficiency to streamline our Sourcing, Testing & Rating process
Minimum Qualifications
• Required : 5+ years of experience working in the food testing space
• Required : 2+ years of experience working in Nutraceutical/Supplement testing
• Required : In-depth understanding of FSSAI's guidelines for packaged foods and health supplements
• Past experience working at a Testing Lab
• Masters or PhD in a relevant/adjacent field
The Ideal Candidate would also have
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify operational inefficiencies and streamline processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to operate in a fluid, fast-paced environment (ie: early-stage startup)
