Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, hardworking Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and operating forklifts, with knowledge of order picking and basic math skills. The role involves shipping and receiving, inventory management, and utilizing a warehouse management system.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately
- Utilize basic math skills to verify orders and inventory
- Lift items and operate machinery safely
- Manage inventory using a warehouse management system
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Loading and unloading dock level containers or 53' trucks by driving 6000 lbs counter balance forklift.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a 5 years minimum Forklift Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Experience with shipping and receiving pallets required
- Experience with loading and unloading trucks/containers required
