Job Description
As a seasoned fashion designer, you will be responsible for developing original designs that are commercially viable and globally appealing. Your role will involve creating detailed tech packs, flat sketches, CADs, and production-ready documentation. You will also need to select appropriate fabrics and trims, considering cost, availability, sustainability, and quality.
Your key responsibilities will include identifying product opportunities aligned with the brand's positioning and market trends, developing original fashion designs that are commercially viable and globally appealing, and working closely with internal teams to ensure the designs are feasible for production and aligned with brand guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will need to stay ahead of fashion trends, consumer insights, and innovations in textiles and garment construction. You will also need to have a strong portfolio showcasing your original designs and product development capabilities, as well as hands-on experience in fabric sourcing and vendor coordination.
In addition to your design skills, you will need to be self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently as a freelance designer. You will have full ownership of your creative and technical process, and will be partnered with a globally-focused fashion brand building next-gen apparel products.
