About the role
We are looking for a skilled freelance video editor with strong experience in professional editing software, specifically DaVinci Resolve, to join our creative workflow on a contract basis.
This is a remote work-from-home opportunity, ideal for a self-managed creative who can take raw footage and independently craft professional-quality video content to deadline.
Projects may include:
Brand campaigns
Social media reels and short-form content
Event coverage edits
Interviews and testimonials
Cinematic highlight videos
Commercial client work
Key responsibilities
Edit high-quality video content from provided footage
Perform colour correction and cinematic colour grading
Sync and mix audio cleanly
Add motion graphics, text, and transitions where needed
Deliver export-ready files in multiple formats
Collaborate remotely with the director/client on revisions
Maintain organised project files and media backups
Skills and experience
Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
Proven experience in professional video editing
Experience with cinematic editing styles
Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and music sync
Colour grading experience
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work
