Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Violin Teacher to join our educational team. Violin lesson would be a new offering for September so there are currently no students lined up however significant marketing is being undertaken for the new year.
As a teaching collective rather than a music school you have the freedom to teach from a location that works for you whether that's from your home or in students houses. However you must be willing to attend monthly meetings on the York St John University campus.
The ideal candidate will have some teaching or musical leadership experience however we are particularly interested to hear from early career teachers. We are also able to provide mentorship for those who may need it.
At Crescendo we believe in offering our students oppertunities to interact with music outside of their lessons. This can look like concerts, workshops, reccording sessions and many more. Because of this we are particuarly interested in hearing from teachers who are happy to be involved in the facilitation of this programme in whatever way works with your strengths.
The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students, and facilitate their academic and personal growth. This role requires a commitment to educational excellence and the ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
