Job Summary of Freight Support Helper:
You will work alongside a Package Delivery Driver to deliver packages in UPS’s signature brown trucks. You’ll help make deliveries, greet customers, and be an essential part of our busy holiday season. This is a flexible, active role with work assigned based on operational needs and your availability.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Freight Support Helper:
• Kick off your shift by meeting with the driver at a specified spot
• Support in the structured transportation of items following a predetermined route
• Carry packages that are a maximum of 70 pounds
• Revel in a fast-paced physical job that takes place outdoors and offers a dynamic work environment
Qualifications and Experience of Freight Support Helper:
• Proficient in managing items weighing up to 70 pounds
• Take joy in completing tasks outdoors in different weather situations
• Ability to maintain stamina when facing the rigors of a physically demanding occupation
• Having the proper documentation to work
