Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Interns/ Freshers with a professional degree in Interior designing to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for design, an eye for detail, and the ability to work on diverse projects including residential and commercial spaces. You will collaborate closely with Senior designers, clients, and project managers to bring innovative design concepts to life.
Location: Charni Road, Mumbai (Work from Office)
Position: Full Time Only
Key Responsibilities:
• Design Conceptualization: Develop creative and functional design concepts for various spaces in line with client requirements, budget, and project timelines.
• Space Planning: Plan and design layouts that optimize space usage while maintaining aesthetics, functionality, and safety standards.
• Material Selection: Select and source appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the design vision.
• Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, budget, and requirements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• 3D Visualizations & Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D design in SketchUp, CAD drawings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
• Team Management: Manage a team of junior designers and set design directions for them to take the project forward. Check drawings and set standards for detail drawings.
• Site Supervision: Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, as needed
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, technologies, and sustainable practices to bring fresh and modern ideas to projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail in design aesthetics, space planning, and material selection.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and solve design and construction-related challenges on-site.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changes in project scope or client preferences.
Salary:
• Competitive salary based on experience and portfolio.
