Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Cashier/Smoothie Specialist/Barista Assistant to join our vibrant café team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and light food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, strong multitasking skills, and experience with POS systems. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in food service, cash handling, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
Operate Toast POS system and accurately input orders.
Make fresh smoothies according to recipe cards.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently
Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
Hours will be fixed at 14 a week from 7-10:30 on the weekdays.
