Key Responsibilities:
Customer Reception & Assistance
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Handle inquiries about device repairs, pricing, and store services.
Direct customers to the appropriate technician or service area.
Booking & Scheduling Repairs
Book repair appointments and manage the service calendar.
Record all devices brought in for repair and ensure accurate logging of issues.
Confirm bookings and follow up with customers as needed.
Device & Ticket Management
Check in devices and generate repair tickets.
Ensure used/replaced parts are recorded against the correct ticket (e.g., for Plympton and Sefton stores).
Maintain accurate records of repair history and parts inventory.
Communication
Respond to customer emails, messages, and calls professionally.
Administrative Duties
Maintain a clean, organized front desk and customer waiting area.
Handle cash, card, and other payment methods as required.
Assist with stock management and parts ordering.
General Support
Support technicians and store staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and data protection procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Basic technical knowledge of smartphones/tablets is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
