Front of House / Café Server — Weekend & Shift Work
Location: Queenstown (Frankton Marina)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Front of House / Café Server with at least 2 years of experience in hospitality or café service. This role requires early starts, weekend work, and shift work, and suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer service, including greeting guests and taking orders
Counter service and table service
Operating the POS/EFTPOS system and handling payments
Preparing and serving beverages (including basic barista tasks)
Assisting with food preparation and plating
Cleaning duties, including wiping tables, restocking, dishes, maintaining tidy work areas, and general café cleanliness
Opening and closing duties as required
Ensuring a positive customer experience at all times
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of hospitality or café experience
Availability for early mornings, weekends, public holidays, and shift work
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, reliable attitude
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
Barista experience is preferred but not essential
