Full job description
Patient Management:
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff
- Relay important information or patient requests
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain patient records and ensure required forms are completed
- Manage front desk operations, including phone calls and correspondence
- Perform tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Organization and Time Management:
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to manage appointments, phone calls, and administrative duties
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in patient records and billing information
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a front office or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Proficiency in medical software and EMR systems
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
