Bring out the best in Westlake Ace Hardware through representation
Offer greetings to individuals as they enter the store and continue to provide assistance with a polite demeanor as they browse
When possible, thank customers by addressing them by name as they leave
Exhibit a welcoming and sociable attitude; excel in engaging with customers and coworkers
Efficiently clear out customer queues at the checkout counters
Deal with all phone calls and notifications promptly, effectively, and politely
Outline a situation or issue that requires the attention of management
Consistently develop a strong foundation of product information and be skilled in guiding customers around the store and directing them to specific products
Support with determining the prices, organizing inventory, labeling, and packaging goods for sale
Ensure strict compliance with the cash register transaction guidelines in place
Responsible for the reconciliation of the register drawer
Ensure implementation of any Store Support Center program or promotion at the cash registers as required
Join in store and cashier consultations
Keep the front end, including checkout areas and entrance doors neat and clean at all times
Face and dust front end
Aid in the consistent replenishment and arrangement of impulse items, while also rotating in new merchandise according to seasonal changes
Maintain a steady rotation of fresh ads within shopping carts
Maintain a sufficient inventory of forms and supplies at all times
Assist in adorning the front end to meet the specifications outlined by the Store Support Center program
Organize cart retrievals as the situation calls for
Keep management informed of the merchandise returns that need to be repositioned in storage
