What you'll be doing:
• Leading the coding, testing and documentation
• Collaborating with teams to define standards, best practices and processes around application development and design.
• Implementing functional and technical enhancements to meet business needs and requirements.
• Demonstrate experience with Front-End design and development frameworks such as React and NodeJS or similar.
• Deep familiarity with debugging, performance measurement, and test-driven development.
• Experience building large-scale responsive web applications.
• Solid understanding of REST principles and exposure to backend APIs.
• Experience with MySQL, Mongo and Redis.
• Strong JavaScript background (AJAX, JSON, MVVM, jQuery, Angular, Knockout, ReactJs)
• Layout framework experience (Bootstrap, Foundation)
• Solid understanding of Version Control tools.
• Working Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
• Ability to deliver the best patterns and practices to solutions in a fast-paced environment.
What you will need:
• Experience in writing production quality code
• A background in computer science or a closely related engineering discipline, with solid fundamentals in algorithms and the maths behind them
• Experience with the recommendation engine, machine learning, and related fields in a production setting is a bonus, but not necessary.
• Can balance attention to detail with the ability to be scrappy and get stuff done.
• Can communicate complex ideas effectively with technical and non-technical team members alike.
