Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for making a positive impact? Indian Impact Investors Council is seeking an enthusiastic Associate with a strong background in Programs & Research to join our dynamic team.
As an Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our impactful initiatives and research projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Conducting in-depth research on impact investing trends and opportunities in India for building potential programs and events
• Assisting in the development and implementation of programs to support our members and partners
• Managing events and workshops to facilitate networking and knowledge sharing within the impact-investing community
• Utilizing MS PowerPoint and MS Excel to create engaging presentations and reports (white Papers etc) for stakeholders
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the impact investing ecosystem
• Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences and drive positive change.
• Plan and organize conferences, seminars, webinars, and networking events that bring together impact investors, thought leaders, and industry experts.
• Work closely with marketing teams to promote events and ensure maximum attendance and impact.
• Manage budgets for programs, events, and special projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Primary & Secondary Research: Engaging in and managing data collation, organization, and analysis to identify trends and insights that aid investors in decision-making. This research also includes deal tracking and maintaining a database of impact investment deals and blended finance transactions.
IIC currently manages what is possibly the only dedicated database of all India-focused impact-related deals over the past decade.

About Company: Indian Impact Investor Council (IIC) is the industry body for impact investing in India. The agenda for IIC is to focus on advocacy, research, impact measurement, and evangelizing the concept of Indian impact investing with investors both in India and abroad. The IIC is supported by most leading impact global funds/foundations with India Focus including Omidyar Network, The Rockefeller Foundation, Caspian, Elevar equity, USAID, The Dell Foundation, Northern Arc, Omnivore, Caspian, and others.
We have close to 80 members today, all directly or indirectly with an interest in the impact space. Impact investing is a well-established form of investing internationally and in India, essentially Impact Investors invest in for-profit enterprises with a focus on financial returns as well as measurable social impact.
