Teaching Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in North Chicago, IL, working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility. This role involves providing academic support to school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
Provide individualized assistance to students
Communicate about student progress as needed
Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
Working Conditions
This position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 8am- 4pm. We offer a generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, federal holidays, and paid school breaks. Qualifications
B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
IL teaching license
Comfortable working with K-12 students
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
Reliable transportation
