Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher Required - Lidcombe

Soma Early Learning Centre is a brand-new state-of-the-art education and care facility, located in the heart of Lidcombe, across from the bustling Lidcombe Shopping Centre.

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new service, with the full support of a dedicated leadership team.

We carefully select our staff based on knowledge and values, shared vision for children and learning, and strong commitment to our learning community.

For this position we are seeking:

Full Time, 5-day availability between the hours of 7.00am-6.00pm
First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012) or willingness to obtain
Child Protection Training (CHCPRT001) or willingness to obtain
Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
Sound knowledge of allergy management processes
ACECQA Approved Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or other ACECQA recognised qualification as an ECT (such as Cert III ECEC plus NSW Teachers Accreditation).
Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Strong computer skills

About the role:

Ensure learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
Create a stimulating and positive environment for the children
Write observations and analyse children's progression and development
Provide support and assistance to other staff members
Monitor staff interactions to ensure they are in line with the EYLF
Develop strong relationships with children, and effectively communicate with parents and carers
