SRE with Unix, Linux Production Support L2/L3—5 to + years—Bangalore/Channai/Pune/Mumbai Ready to support 24/7 shifts

About the team:
This team is part of the Payments Application Production Support team. This team covers a 24/7 shift and is responsible for the high availability of the system for payment transactions.
What you will be doing:
• Performs monitoring and operational management functions for associated hardware and software within a 24x7 processing environment.
• The team coordinates with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the application is up and running to avoid any breakage in the services.
• Drives issue resolution by making critical decisions that may impact multiple clients’ processing.
• Proactively investigates known and unknown error conditions and follows prescribed error correction procedures when they apply.
• Maintains peak performance at full capacity for all systems
What you bring:
• Need to have 5-+ years of experience in Java, Linux, WAS, IBM MQ (Linux-based), Splunk, and OpenShift.
• Working experience/knowledge on WebSphere Application Server (WAS) (Optional)
• Experience in application support/SRE roles.
• Experience writing scripts or automating tasks
• Demonstrated knowledge of FIS products and services, the financial services industry, and mainframe and/or open systems operating systems
• Knowledge of clients objectives/business priorities and FIS's role in achieving
• Ability to effectively use production control tools and resources encompassing mainframe, open system processing, processor link/Connex software, ATMs, and environments.
