Contract Chair Co supplies high-quality furniture to some of the most stylish hospitality venues worldwide. We pride ourselves on our world-class website, experienced staff, and exceptional customer service.
We are currently seeking a Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. This role also includes furniture assembly and finding solutions to problems.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
• Lifting boxes and loose furniture
• Furniture delivery and unpacking
• Furniture assembly including table bases, fitting bases to tops.
• Fitting and replacing feet, glides and castors
• Wood putty and wood glue repairs
• Wood scratch removal
• Fitting and replacing barstool swivel mechanisms and columns
• Replacing wood screw fixings with threaded inserts and bolts
Requirements:
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Full driving license with no endorsements
• Over 25 years old
• Availability to work pre 8am and post 4pm when needed
• Willingness to drive 3 hours to site
• Positive can-do attitude
