We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Furniture Installer Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and installing a variety of furniture products in homes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Furniture Installer will ensure that all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
• Safely transport furniture items from the warehouse to various locations using a box truck.
• Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform heavy lifting while ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction with the installation process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment during installations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and installation schedules.
Skills
• Prior experience assembly of furniture is a preferred
• Able to pass a background check
• Experience in warehouse operations, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assembly tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous.
