We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring safe and efficient moving practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service while handling heavy lifting tasks. Applicants must have their own vehicle. Wage will be dependent on experience.
Duties
Operate moving trucks and other vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic regulations.
Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
Assist in packing and unpacking items for customers during the moving process.
Communicate with customers regarding their needs and provide updates throughout the moving process.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and vehicles used for transporting goods.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of moving tasks.
Utilize forklifts when necessary to move heavy items within the warehouse or during loading/unloading processes.
Experience
Previous experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is preferred.
Familiarity with customer service principles and effective communication skills is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate equipment such as forklifts safely.
A valid driver's license is required.
Strong teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and support within a team environment.
